Working Horses
The mustang I have been working with is not saddle broke yet so I don't know if she is fast. The other horse I am working with isn't saddle broke yet either. I am just working a little with saddling the horses everyday until they get used to having a saddle on. When it comes to a horse not listening, you just have to keep working with them and make them listen to you. You have to be the boss of them not let them boss you around. The more you let them get away with, the more they will keep doing it and the harder it will be for you to train them not to do bad things. After I get the horses I work with trained, I either sell them, or use them as horses to trail cattle or just to become a working horse. Some horses I work with just become trail horses for people to ride. Horses that aren't broke don't cost very much at all. Once they are broke and have manners they can get very expensive.

dont worry the horses will get used to a saddle eventually. i to have a horse that isnt saddle broken but she is getting more used to having it on her more and more everyday that i work with her. so im almost positive that they will get used to it soon.
ReplyDeleteHow does it usually take to saddle break a horse? What kinds of bad manners can a horse have? This sounds like a lot of work! Have you decided what to do with these two horses?
